The commune of Binningen offers residents 9 non-personal travel cards per day in the form of second-class day passes. A pass costs CHF 40.00 and is valid for use solely on the date printed on it. It allows the bearer to travel on all SBB and Postbus routes as well as on most licensed private railways, urban public transport and many Swiss boat services. The passes may be ordered 60 days in advance. Reserved passes must be collected and paid for by the second working day thereafter (in cash or using the card system for EC and Postcard). The reservation is binding and commits the buyer to purchase the day pass. Reserved day passes that are not collected may be released for resale. Should it not be possible to resell these day passes, the costs will be charged to the person making the reservation. No subsequent changes are possible. No reimbursement will be made in the case of non-use or loss. Reservations may be made online or by telephone on 061 425 51 51.
