Binningen gets moving Programme AquaFit: Spiegelfeld indoor swimming pool, every Wednesday morning, 6:30 – 7:30 a.m. An admission charge of CHF 4.00 per person will be made for use of the swimming pool. Spiegelfeld sports complex This consists of a sports hall and indoor swimming pool and the sports field with many ancillary facilities. Above the swimming pool is a three-section sports hall for a wide variety of indoor sports. Luft- und Sonnenbad St. Margarethen (open-air swimming pool) Open from 15 April to 15 October. With summer café open also to passing guests. Vita-Parcours fitness course / Finnenbahn natural running track Vita-Parcours, start: at the entrance to Allschwil Forest, car parking at the shooting range. Zurich Vita parcours Binningen Finnenbahn, start: above the sports ground, alongside the Spiegelfeld indoor swimming pool.
Cycling and inline skating Numerous marked routes lead through Binningen. Binningen is the ideal starting point for many tours in nearby Alsace. The BLT tram to Rodersdorf and back also carries bicycles.

Strolling and hiking The Bruderholz is a popular local excursion destination. It makes a perfect spot for a stroll with a view over Basel and the Rhine Valley. Devotees of pastoral life and the natural world will find a haven of rural tranquillity in the Herzogenmatt Nature Reserve. Here you may well catch sight of a grass frog or butterfly as you take a walk.
Beach volleyball / Boules A beach volleyball court and a boules court are located next to the main entrance to the indoor swimming pool.
